When something is off
Six things account for nearly everything people hit. Yours is probably here.
Nami looks for them through your own shell when it starts. If you installed one while Nami was open, quit it and open it again. If there is still nothing, pick one from the list and let Nami install it for you.
Your copy lives somewhere unusual. Set CLAUDE_CODE_EXECUTABLE to the full path of your claude, then restart Nami.
Press Try again on the card. The usual cause is your agent’s own usage limit, and the card says so when it knows.
Open Settings, then Voice. The local speech model downloads the first time you use it, so give it a minute on a fresh install.
The bar offers you the download instead. Take it and drag it over your copy. Nothing you have done is affected, and a failed update never replaces a working app.
Everything it did is in the card, step by step. If the folder is in git, the change is a normal one to undo. If it is not, this is the argument for pointing Nami at a copy while you are learning.
